Imagine being allowed to lie, cheat, steal and kill without fear of getting arrested and ending up in jail?  How convenient if you are a psychopathic leader whose world crimes make your nation an outlaw state! Since you have no conscience, and enforceable international law is weak to nonexistent, there are no guard rails to prevent you from endless crimes such as endless wars.

The world community's main protectors, the United Nations and the International Criminal Court, are denied adequate power to stop war crimes, crimes against humanity, and other world crimes. When the most powerful nations are rogue, the world community stands by, frustrated and helpless to prevent the carnage and injustice. 

Peace, human rights, and environmental activists are developing an alternative to the current UN global governing system, namely the need for a "new UN" or Earth Federation government.

It is a Two Track Strategy: (1) Develop Earth Federation government from the grassroots by establishing the HOUSE OF PEOPLES in a Provisional World Parliament. (Meeting in India in December 7-10, 2025); and (2) Reaching out to the UN General Assembly to develop the HOUSE OF NATIONS as called for under the authority of the Earth Constitution as part of an emerging democratic World Parliament.

Predatory, Bully nations mock human rights and law & order

The Earth Constitution is designed to replace the outdated and fatally flawed UN Charter which lacks an adequate world judiciary system and enforcement. For powerful predatory Bully nations, there is no sheriff in town. No federal marshals to enforce Law or protect human rights. Law and order are absent, leaving only anarchy and war. 

A significant development to address such deadly flaws in the current global governance system (i.e., the United Nations Charter) has been the introduction by peace activists of the Earth Constitution (aka "Constitution for the Federation of Earth") to inspire, educate and ultimately replace the deeply problematic UN Charter. 

Einstein understood how to abolish war

"Einstein on Peace" (Nathan & Norden, 1981 edition) is a brilliant analysis of what will be needed to abolish war, -- and eliminate all nuclear weapons. Stated bluntly, Einstein concluded that only world government could be successful -- this is a core principle of world federalism: To have world peace (and justice), the solution must be world (federal) government. 

Cyberspace and AI, a tool for the World Parliament?

For tech worshipers the bad news is that modern cyberspace/Internet, even with AI, cannot, and will not, bring the world either peace or justice. No way. But it can be a powerful tool, even a game-changer by assisting the World Constitution & Parliament Association and Earth Constitution Institute to establish the HOUSE OF PEOPLES as called for by the Earth Constitution -- a key grassroots part of an emerging PROVISIONAL WORLD PARLIAMENT to replace the corrupt, dismally-failed, totally undemocratic, UN Security Council.

The HOUSE OF PEOPLES is designed for the world's 8 billion people distributed into 1000 Electoral Districts. You will vote for a delegate to represent your District and be part of decision-making on global issues. Such a large world population will require help from cyberspace/block chain/AI for secure elections and other tasks.    

Ongoing international crimes never seem to cease

Perhaps it is not necessary to remind readers of the ongoing world crimes unfolding day after day in almost every part of the world: Israel with the help of the US government slaughtering the Palestinians as if they were American Indians in the 1800s. US/NATO obliterating Iraq with "shock and awe." Some critics condemn Russia's military invasion of Ukraine despite the covert US-directed violent regime change of Ukraine's government. 

It is not just military invasions or illegal coups, it is also criminal economic warfare such as the US attack against Venezuela utilized to destroy a government which prefers a socialist or communist economic model. Illegal economic blockades indirectly murder civilians who cannot get adequate medicines, other life-support supplies, or employment in an economy like in Venezuela crushed by US covert and overt invasion. 

Empowering the UN General Assembly with the Earth Constitution

Bully nations know that the UN system can't stop them from committing any crime, no matter how egregious. Israeli genocide against Palestinians with US help just the latest example. European NATO countries, Russia and China all have had criminal episodes in their history, with the UN unable to protect and bring justice because of the faulty Charter.

The UN General Assembly could empower itself by adopting the HOUSE OF NATIONS and utilizing the authority of the Earth Constitution. They would be giving themselves the right to vote on global affairs and to take action, as well as launching a new, more effective world law and order system to better control psychopathic leaders of rogue nations.  

It's time for new hope and inspiration, a nonviolent revolution -- a Renaissance. Join the Earth Constitution Movement for a well-thought out World Judiciary and Enforcement System giving more meaning and authority to the principle that no one should be above the Law. Support the Provisional World Parliament's democratic design under the visionary, yet practical Earth Constitution. ~ R. Reviving Article 109

The Charter’s drafters foresaw that the world would change. They included in Article 109, the Charter’s review clause, a provision for convening a conference to assess whether the organization remained fit for purpose. That provision has never been invoked. As the UN turns 80, this may be the moment to do so.

A review conference should not be feared as an opening for chaos. Properly prepared, it could be a disciplined exercise in constitutional renewal: Clarifying mandates, updating institutional design and reaffirming the legal and moral framework of international cooperation.

Such a process would need to focus on three areas:

• Representation: Ensuring the Security Council and other organs reflect current geopolitical realities, not those of 1945

• Responsibility: Creating a fairer system of financing and accountability that reduces dependence on a few states

• Relevance: Equipping the UN to respond to emerging challenges — from climate change and pandemics to artificial intelligence and disinformation — that threaten global peace and stability

None of these reforms can succeed without political will, but the Charter itself provides the foundation for that will.

In recent years, discussions about UN reform have often been reactive, focused on one administration, one veto or one failure.

Restoring the Charter’s constitutional balance will not happen through rhetoric alone. It will require design: Institutional mechanisms that limit unilateralism, distribute authority and anchor collective action in law. Reaffirming the Charter does not mean returning to 1945. It means taking its principles seriously in 2025, treating collective security, human rights and development as shared obligations, not political options.

What are we waiting for??*

Anniversaries invite reflection, but they can also spur renewal. The UN’s 80th year should not be a commemoration of past achievements and failures, but a catalyst for modernizing its founding compact. ... Secretary of War Pete Hegseth dominated the NATO ministerial meeting in Brussels, while pressuring Europeans to assume an even heavier share of the defense burden. Referring to his peers as “ministers of war,” Hegseth demanded that member states purchase additional U.S. arms for Ukraine. 

Following Hegseth’s lead, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is now directing a campaign to secure arms purchase commitments. Rutte emphasizes that he is “proud” of the alliance’s ongoing assistance to Ukraine, noting that Russia has “lost 1 million people — dead or seriously wounded.”

Hegseth’s strongarm tactics and fundraising drive showcase the power dynamics that underlie NATO policymaking. In recent years, the organization has portrayed itself as an alliance of democracies confronting unprovoked aggression in Ukraine and China’s meteoric rise. Yet fundamentally, NATO is a U.S.-dominated ...

NATO often portrays itself as a principled alliance of democracies confronting authoritarian rivals. But historically, the organization has collaborated with far-right intellectuals and statesmen, in order to maintain its military-industrial edge and geopolitical power. Following World War II, U.S. officials protected Wernher von Braun and around 1,500 other Nazi scientists from prosecution, while integrating them into the alliance’s scientific establishment. Eventually, the German General Adolf Heusinger, whose men butchered Jews and tossed children into wells, became a senior NATO commander.

For decades, Spain’s fascist strongman, Francisco Franco, was also an essential alliance partner. Between 1951 and 1953, the United States negotiated the Pact of Madrid, securing access to Spanish military bases and turning the country into a staging ground for NATO operations.

The legendary African revolutionary, Amílcar Cabral, was scathing: “Portugal would never be able to launch three colonial wars in Africa without the help of NATO, the weapons of NATO, the planes of NATO, [and] the bombs of NATO.” In turn, Portugal’s military base in the Azores islands was an essential instrument of U.S. power projection, allowing American forces to airship arms to Israel and manipulate the geopolitical balance in the Middle East.

To rebrand itself, NATO intervened in Yugoslavia throughout the 1990s, while claiming to defend oppressed ethnic minorities. ...

Brandishing NATO’s firepower, members conducted over 38,000 combat sorties, pummeling Yugoslavia with depleted uranium shells, cluster bombs, and other munitions. ... Amnesty International concluded that NATO committed “serious violations of the laws of war.”

Beyond protecting brutal partners, NATO itself perpetrated numerous war crimes. British veterans claimed that killing civilians became “addictive,” and “lots of psychotic murderers” served in Afghanistan. One recalled that his comrades handcuffed and shot “a child, not even close to fighting age.” Indeed, soldiers reported that killing civilians and detainees “became routine.” ...

At the Bucharest Summit in 2008, NATO announced support for future Ukrainian membership. In response, the U.S. ambassador to Russia, William Burns, warned that alliance expansion threatened to trigger a regional catastrophe. “Ukrainian entry into NATO is the brightest of all redlines for the Russian elite,” he cautioned. ... Nonetheless, U.S. officials continued to steer Ukraine into NATO’s sphere of influence, helping provoke Russia’s illegal 2022 invasion.

The destruction of Gaza would be impossible without the involvement of NATO states. ... Yet they have lavishly praised his Gaza “ceasefire,” which Israeli forces have violated nearly 500 times: killing hundreds of Palestinians. And while condemning Russian aggression, alliance members are systematically persecuting peace activists and allowing Israel to arrest, torture, and murder their own citizens with impunity.

The UK government is working to implement its war plans and militarization projects at the cost of a drastic increase in the tax burden on British citizens.

This is just further evidence of the strategic irrationality that currently prevails in Western decision-making, with unpopular pro-war policies being implemented to react to non-existent “threats.” In the end, this process tends to lead the UK, as well as other countries with similar policies, to a simultaneous wave of escalating tensions on the international arena and a crisis of legitimacy at the domestic level.

 "The name "Rebecca Conway" appears in unsubstantiated social media posts and memes that list various alleged settlements involving Donald Trump and underage girls. According to these unverified online sources, the matter was settled for $5 million and involved events at the Trump Vineyard Estates in Charlottesville in 2012."  

However, fact-checking organizations have determined that these specific allegations, along with others on the same lists (such as those for Kelly Feuer, Charles Bacon, and Maria Olivera), lack supporting evidence in the form of official court documents or credible news reports. The woman in a different, actual federal lawsuit filed in New York in 2016 under the pseudonym "Jane Doe" (not Rebecca Conway) eventually dropped her case before any serious litigation proceeded.-[Google's AI provided the answer to ESR's inquiry.
