Hello Connect TK8 Families,
We hope you are enjoying the final weeks of summer break! Our staff is back on campus and preparing for the 26-27 School Year! We promise you will hear from your teachers and our team with all the information you'll need to start the school year VERY soon--for now, we want to share just a few quick updates with you:
First, we want to let you know that our 26-27 Family Handbook is available, which will always be linked at the bottom of our newsletters.
Next, will be reaching out with schoolwide and classroom specific information soon--if you do not hear from us via e-mail by 8/11, please e-mail Robin ASAP! For now, here are some important Save the dates:

Orientation Day is Monday 8/17--class specific orientation times will be shared by classroom teachers
- Our Welcome Back Party is scheduled for Friday 8/21 from 2pm-4pm!
- You will also schedule a mandatory meeting with your classroom teacher + drop in to the weeklong Parent Center Open House to onboard curriculum and Learning Logs for the year. Our special education case managers will also be offering optional one on ones with their students, please lookout for their emails with sign ups.
If you haven't yet already, please consider joining our private FB group--this is where families build community outside our school walls, and there are already opportunities to join homeschool groups/activities for the year. You can join our Private FB Group for families by searching “Official Da Vinci Connect TK-8 School Group” on Facebook!
It is crucial that you and your student sign the Independent Study Enrollment Agreement sent to your e-mail address in July before the start of the year in order to remain enrolled with us! If you need support signing your ISEA, please reach out to Laura Nilsson at lnilsson@davincischools.org
