Dinner Update:
Please take note of the following new format which we will be implementing due to the anticipated large crowd and in an effort to maintain the proper dignity and decorum during the program.

There will be  no set seating at tables this year . Instead, there will be an extensive stand-up smorgasbord-style buffet dinner . We are excited to increase the opportunity for everyone to interact with families from all of our YHT communities!

Please note the newly updated format and schedule for the evening:
  • 8:30 pm – 9:45 pm – Lavish smorgasbord-style buffet dinner
  • 10:00 pm – Program in sanctuary

Program to be followed by an elegant dessert parade, raffle drawing, and dancing!

PICTURE OF THE WEEK
ARTICLE OF THE WEEK
This past Monday evening, parents in grades 1-4 participated in an interactive curriculum night, spotlighting our literacy program. Parents rotated through stations learning about how reading, writing and spelling are taught in the elementary department. The stations included research based theories and hands-on activities that students do in class. Each station offered articles for parents to take home about literacy learning and how to support the learning done in school. The evening ended with a question-answer session with our literacy curriculum coordinator, Mrs. Yonina Lermer. Thank you to Mrs. Lermer for planning the evening which was co-hosted by the education committee. Thank you, as well, to Mrs. Natanov, Mrs. Rosenfeld and Mrs. Rossi for their informative presentations. We plan to host another literacy curriculum night, for people who were not able to get a spot in this week's event.
