PICTURE OF THE WEEK
ARTICLE OF THE WEEK
Last week was filled with simcha, tzedaka, and fun! Purim celebrations began on Tannit Esther as the 4th-8th graders participated in a lively Goods and Services Auction to raise money for Od Yosef Chai. Not only did students and families raise a tremendous amount of tzedaka for Matanot L'Evyonim, but they also won fun prizes offered by many teachers and staff. Following the auction, the 7th and 8th graders had an opportunity to participate in a global tefilla program with schools around the country and Israel. This program provided a meaningful tone as we moved into Purim. When everyone returned to school on Friday, Shushan Purim, they were dressed head to toe in creative costumes ready for a day of celebration. Students enjoyed a special concert by Six13 where they sang, danced and had a blast! As if the concert wasn't enough, the 8th grade students made ran a fun filled carnival for everyone to enjoy! A huge thank you to Mrs. Hus for organizing these amazing Purim fun days!
