PICTURE OF THE WEEK
ARTICLE OF THE WEEK
Students and teachers celebrated Israel's 71st birthday with song, dance, and fun Israel-themed activities!!! 4th-8th graders participated in programs centered around the agricultural mitzvot of Israel, the meaning behind them, and an appreciation that Hashem provides for the land of Israel. These programs ranged from a team building irrigation challenge, Israel day parade preparations, and of course, an incredible inter-grade project to help infuse the school with Israel spirit. Our lower school had an exciting afternoon of celebration, including Tzahal training, paired with a fun and friendly Israel themed Human Bingo game. Thank you to Mrs. Hus for coordinating such a fantastic, fun filled day and to the PTA for providing a special Israeli lunch! The special day culminated with a family sing along and a debut performance by the YHT Choir under the direction of Mrs. Karen Daitchman!
