HENDRICKS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ARRESTS BROWNSBURG MAN IN CONNECTION WITH THREAT TO FORMER HIGH SCHOOL


Lizton- On 03/26/2024 Hendricks County authorities were notified that a former student of Tri-West High School had been posting disturbing messages and videos on his social media account which led many members of the community to be in fear that the man would come to Tri-West High School and carry out a violent and deadly attack. As detectives continued their investigation, additional facts came to light that rose to the level of criminal activity and a violation of Indiana law.


Investigators immediately followed up on the new information and filed an affidavit with a Hendricks County court requesting an arrest warrant for thesuspect, who has been identified as Carson Cole, 20, of Brownsburg. At approximately 10:30pm on 3/27/2024, Carson Cole was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Hendricks County Jail where he is currently being held without bond for the criminal offense of Intimidation, a Level

5 felony.


We are thankful that this incident was resolved peacefully and without injury. Sheriff Jack Sadler added, “In Hendricks County, school safety is of the utmost importance. I am proud of the cooperation between our community members, schools, and our investigators. This is how we keep our community safe.


All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

It's time for the Plainfield Chamber's Quaker Day Parade THEME CONTEST!

 

The community is encouraged to submit your theme ideas by email to chamber@plainfield-in.com or Facebook messenger

 

Past themes have included, "Garden Party," "There's No Place Like Home," "Just Be Kind," "Plainfield Proud," and "Salute to Service."

 

Deadline for your entry is APRIL 20TH. The winner of the contest will be chosen by the Parade Committee and will receive a ride for two on a Plainfield Fire Territory Fire Truck in the parade. The winner will be notified by the second week in May.

 

The 2024 parade will take place on Saturday, September 21st at 10AM. The route will be heading West down Main Street from Duke Energy to the Al & Jan Barker Athletic Complex.
