The perennial philosophy, or perennial tradition, is going to be the undergirding of the Rohr Institute’s Living School, which we hope will expose people to the great Wisdom Tradition, based also in Christianity in its own concrete form and vocabulary of incarnation. The Perennial Tradition includes a recurring theme in all of the world’s religions and philosophies. They continue to say, each in their own way:
- There is a Divine Reality underneath and inherent in the world of things.
- There is in the human soul a natural capacity, similarity, and longing for this Divine Reality.
- The final goal of all existence is union with this Divine Reality.
