Taking the Gospel to prayer
Where do you see yourself in today's Gospel? Are you Levi - ready to leave it all behind to follow Jesus? Are you Levi's friend who came to the party but isn't interested in anything more? Are you the Pharisee who wants to know more about the Messiah but simply can't give up old mindsets in order to follow Him? Are you willing to recognize your own sinfulness and follow the Physician's instructions in order to get better?
May this Lent be a time of "rehabilitation" so that we become stronger and healthier in our spiritual lives.
