Tuesday of the Fourth Week of Easter

Taking the Gospel to Prayer

We have spent the past few days in Chapter 10 of John, but today we jump to Chapter 12. Jesus has entered triumphantly into Jerusalem. Jesus has announced that His hour has come and still He is faced with disbelief from the Jews.

So, today, we find Him "crying out"...once more trying to get them to understand. Doing this, while knowing, that in a few days He would be handed over for crucifixion. Such is Jesus' persistent love for us! We can be hard-headed and hard-hearted. Still, He calls us to follow Him.

Let us pray for the grace to be God's light in the world...no matter the challenges.

Lord Jesus, help me to grow closer to You today.
