Taking the Gospel to Prayer

However we are engaged -- in prayer, fasting, charity works/almsgiving, we must not seek personal gratification from the activity. It is certainly correct to feel good about doing the Lord's work, but we cannot forget that it is His work.

Lord, all that is good comes from You. Help us to nurture the seeds that You have planted within us so that we might grow in love of You and Your creation. May we hear Your message and bring it others all for Your greater honor and glory. Amen.

Lord Jesus, help me to grow closer to You
