Church Seating Adjustment: Having observed the patterns of the past two weekends, we will be reducing the seating for masked, socially-distanced participants at Mass from two pew sections to one. Please look for this marked area in the Church as the third grouping of pews from the entry door on the ambo (pulpit) side of the building. Thank you for your cooperation as we continue to adapt.

Twelfth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Taking the Gospel to Prayer

The disciples were terrified and then they were in awe! The world around them was engulfed in a storm. They turned to Jesus who set things aright. They said they believed Jesus was the Son of God, yet in seeing Him act they are amazed.

Is this the case in our own lives/our world? Do we find ourselves in chaos? Have we turned the situation over to God? Do we really believe that God will deliver us? How can we strengthen our faith?

Lord, help my unbelief. Strengthen my faith. As I receive You in Holy Communion, help me to appreciate that You are God and yet You dwell inside of me. Thank You for all of the blessings that I take for granted.

Lord Jesus, help me to grow closer to You today.
