Tuesday of the Sixteenth Week in Ordinary Time

Taking the Gospel to Prayer

Ever wonder why there's so much "stuff" in this newsletter? Today's Gospel.

The message is simple but often forgotten...we are responsible for more than our biological relatives. It is easy to pay attention to our children and parents. But how often do we block out others that we see every day...the unpopular person at work, the beggar on the street, or the people who make us feel inferior.

Our world is wide. Our hearts must be set on mission that is just as big.

Let us place the needs of others in the forefront of our prayer today.

Lord Jesus, help me to grow closer to You today.
