UPDATE ON
Ken Peterson,
Ken writes: "Surgery was Friday, the 22nd, and I went home from the hospital on Saturday. I'm walking using a walker (although I had a moment of forgetfulness this morning and walked over to talk to Peggy using just the walls for support). Have been doing some really SWELL exercises (note the sarcasm), but they will benefit me in the near future.
Thanks for all the prayers, cards, etc. and love to all."

O God, your compassions never fail and your mercies are new every morning: We give you thanks for giving our brother Ken both relief from pain and hope of health renewed. Continue in him, we pray, the good work you have begun; that he, daily increasing in bodily strength, and rejoicing in your goodness, may so order his life and conduct that he may always think and do those things that please you; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen. The Book of Common Prayer, page 460
Please also keep in your prayers,
our own
Mawg Ellithorpe
who is in the process of moving from her home of decades, a time of great stress. Pray for patience and her wonderful sense of humor to carry her through.

Send here encouragement at

Pray also for the repose of the soul of Joyce Rameès dear friend Steve Schermer’s sister Debbie who died on EasterDay after a most courageous battle with cancer for several years. Thank you for our prayers for her while she was in hospice this past few weeks. Also keep her husband, Grant, brother Steve, and family who grieve for her in your prayers.
May the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God Rest In Peace.
And may light perpetual sine upon them.
Amen.
