KEEP IN YOUR PRAYERS

David & Jennifer Helgeson

who were active members of the Parish back in the day. Jennifer is in the last stages of fighting cancer. David reached out to the Parish during this difficult (to put it mildly!) time.  Keep David and Jennifer as well as their children, Nicholas and Claire, in your prayers.  Pray that Jennifer's transition from this life to the Next may be gentle and kind and filled with the Presence of God.  And pray for comfort and strength for David, Nicholas and Claire.

God of comfort, God of love; surround the Helgeson family with your grace and compassion to meet the days ahead with honesty and courage that they may know the power of your love and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Blessed Mother of God, pray for the Helgeson Family now and in the hour of their death and welcome us all into the company of the Saints in light; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Kris Mikami will be released from the hospital tomorrow.  YAY!!!!!!  Send cards and best wishes to:

Esther Mumford asks our prayers for Horn of Africa nations especially Ethiopia, Somalia and Kenya, suffering mainly from the effects of climate change: drought, famine, as well war and political turmoil. Ditto, to a lesser degree, in some of West Africa.

She also asks for comfort and a peaceful death for Oneida Gallerson, Esther's aunt for whom she has cared for many years.

Sheila Hosner asks our prayers for the Health Center in Bududa, Uganda.  We are half way to our fundraising goal.  Your prayers will help us reach our goal to provide health care to the deserving people of Bududa.  Thanks.

Ken Peterson Update

It was great to see both Ken and Peggy at Ralph Heitt's memorial.  They on the mend!

O God, your compassions never fail and your mercies are new every morning: We give you thanks for giving our brother Ken both relief from pain and hope of health renewed. Continue in him, we pray, the good work you have begun; that he, daily increasing in bodily strength, and rejoicing in your goodness, may so order his life and conduct that he may always think and do those things that please you; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen. The Book of Common Prayer, page 460
Please also keep in your prayers,
our own
Mawg Ellithorpe
who is in the process of moving from her home of decades, a time of great stress. Pray for patience and her wonderful sense of humor to carry her through.
