Advent Opportunities at Our Lady of Hope
With Advent beginning on November 29, it's time to prepare for the coming of Christ, Our parish has two exciting ways to help us ready our hearts for Jesus.
Creating Space for God
With everything going on in the world lately, have you felt a desire to draw closer to God? Would you like to explore what it can mean to create sacred space in your life? This Advent, we would like to form a group of six to eight people who will commit to learn together and to practice prayer as the experience of friendship with God.
Beginning November 29, we will meet weekly via Zoom each Sunday from 7:30-8:30 pm for six weeks. In our meetings, we will discuss forms of prayer and then work to put them into practice in our daily lives over the seasons of Advent and Christmas. If you are interested or would like further information, please contact parishioner Tom Wetzel at twetzel@luc.edu.
Advent Traditions!
Do you and your family have Advent traditions that help you celebrate the season? A wreath, a Jesse Tree? Send us pictures of your traditions that celebrate Advent and help you and your family prepare for the coming of our Lord!
