  • Recovery to inspire, share and empower.” Ohio University’s Collegiate Recovery Community aims to assist students in overcoming and processing substance use disorders. In college towns such as Athens, the low alcohol prices in combination with high bars and other substance-oriented factors, college students fall into the crosshairs of addiction. While professionals say the use of drugs or alcohol isn’t inherently negative, the repetitive use can be harmful to students’ overall wellbeing. In areas with a high concentration of risk factors such as college campuses, students facing substance use disorders are less likely to seek resources for help. • Ohio’s 74-62 win against Northern Illinois isn’t a win that the Bobcats are proud of. Following six failed 3-point attempts, Ohio was able to shake whatever funk it had found itself in midway through the second half. As per usual, Ohio’s offense took much of the heat as Mark Sears and Ben Vander Plas worked like a well-oiled machine to to more than half of the team’s points. Read the full fast reactions here…
