Daily Shoulder Closures: Calcasieu Parish

CALCASIEU PARISH – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces lane closures on I-10 Westbound Outside Lane as well as Exit 27 and I-10 Westbound to La-378, Sampson Street.

There will be a full ramp closure from 8:00 P.M – 5:00 A.M. These will take place Wednesday night, April 2, 2025, through Thursday morning, April 3, 2025. The lane Closure will begin on the East side of the Calcasieu River Bridge.

A detour route will be implemented for motorists attempting to exit I-10 Westbound to La-378, Sampson Street.

The following areas with lane closures:

• I-10 Westbound Outside Lane as well as Exit 27

The following areas with full ramp closures:

• Exit 27, I-10 Westbound to La-378, Sampson Street

Detour route:

• Continue along I-10 Westbound to US-90 exit. Merge on to US-90 then take the next exit, PPG Drive. At PPG Drive take the I-10 Eastbound Entrance ramp to merge on to I-10 Eastbound. Continue along I-10 Eastbound to Exit 27, La-378.

These closures are necessary for mill and overlay procedures in the areas stated above.
