This verse covers every aspect of man. It leaves nothing out. God does not do things halfway. The problem with man is we are constantly trying to put God in some kind of box, rules with walls. God wants us to know simply what He is saying and make a stand to believe Him despite our circumstances or adversities. No hindrances, no intellectualization, no religion, no leaning on your own understanding. He wants you pure, blameless and complete in Him. This releases the power of the Creator of the Universe. He wants you to prosper and be healthy and has provided for it through the Blood of Jesus Christ.
So where is the problem. It is in the mirror. God wants us to believe Him like a little child would trust his father to do what he said he would do. The church has struggled with this simplicity since its beginning. Jesus constantly had problems with His own disciples in their exercise of their faith. It was available to them as it is to us on this day. Choose whom you are going to serve for you. Is it the world and all its wisdom or the Word and its simple and completeness.
I had a great conversation with one of my children the other day. He was speaking concerning a great experience he had that night by being introduced to some of the very famous businessmen and politicians in his hometown. While he was speaking, I told him I had to get to an appointment. That was 9 pm in the evening. When he caught hold of what I was saying, he asked me who I was meeting. I quietly and purposely told him, “I have a meeting in my den with the Creator of the Universe. I have some issues that I want to discuss with Him.” I did not want to belittle his experience but wanted to make an awareness of the greatness he has available all the time. Where is the Creator in your life. Does He live inside to counsel, guide, inform and give wisdom?? Do you know He told you that He wants you prosperous and in good health. Christ in you the Hope of Glory.
