In Him
“For in him we live and move and have our being.”
Heavenly Father, in you we live and move and have our being: We humbly pray you so to guide and govern us by your Holy Spirit, that in all the cares and occupations of our life we may not forget you, but may remember that we are ever walking in your sight; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A long time ago, I concluded that all life is a gift; hence, my life is a gift. I did nothing to earn or to deserve this gift of life. Then, I further concluded that my continued existence is in God’s hands and that He sustains and cares for me as His child, made in His image. Based on the above conclusions, I finally arrived at the place where I not only realized, but also acknowledged, that I cannot and do not exist apart from His love and grace.
So today, after once again celebrating the Feast of Easter (that incredible gift of salvation promised to us through the death and resurrection of Jesus), I ask this question, "What do His death and resurrection mean to you — for you?"
My fervent prayer this Easter season is that you and I, and all people throughout the world, each of whom is a child of God, will understand and experience His love and grace in a new and deeper way. And may the love, peace and grace of God surround you and fill you now and always.
“Alleluia. Christ is risen. The Lord is risen indeed. Alleluia!”
