Tell Everyone of the Good News!

“Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.'”

Matthew 28:16-20, NIV

My favorite clothing brand is called “Jesus Loves You.” They make trendy clothes, all with the goal of spreading the love and character of Jesus Christ by the messages on their clothing. Sometimes, the messages simply state “Jesus Loves You,” while other times they feature Bibles verses. The idea is to get people talking to others, no matter where the clothing is worn. If you ever see me in a t-shirt, nine times out of 10, it is a “Jesus Loves You” one!

I love the company because, so many times, people comment on the shirts and then ask me what it means or what it stands for. I then get to talk about how I am a Christian and share with people how Jesus died for them and they are loved by Him. These shirts make fulfilling the Great Commission easy!

And with Easter just ending, what better time than to talk about Jesus to everyone! You see, you don’t need to be a priest or work for a church to tell others about Jesus Christ. If you call yourself a Christian, Jesus calls you to go make disciples and teach them to obey everything He commanded. He wants people to hear the Good News that He died on the cross for their sins and rose three days later, defeating death.

This isn’t news we should just keep for ourselves but share with everyone around us. Go tell everyone the good news of Jesus Christ and remember that He is with you always, helping!
