Heating chocolate milk and offering it as hot chocolate to students is a great way to increase milk consumption in schools.  We fund hot chocolate dispensing units and promotional kits to help schools get started.

Olympic Rower Gevvie Stone Visits Dairy Farm
U.S. Olympian and Team Milk athlete Gevvie Stone is sponsored by New England Dairy & Food Council to promote the benefits of milk. She recently visited Laggis Brothers Farm in Hardwick, VT. She wrote on her Instagram, "Now even more appreciative of milk than ever before!"

New HISTORY Series Features NH Dairy Farm

This Thursday, April 4th the Robertson Family, of Bohanan Farm and Contoocook Creamery in Contoocook New Hampshire, will add TV stars to their job descriptions! They will join 150 members of their community at UNH to watch the premiere of the HISTORY television series "The American Farm," in which their family's life on their dairy farm is depicted. They are one of five families featured in the series to launch on Thursday, April 4 at 10 p.m.
New England Dairy Promotion Board is sponsoring the premiere event and other promotion plans with the family and HISTORY channel.

Proceeds from the Gala ticket sales and auction will support the Fuel Up to Play 60 program.

Students Compete for $1,000 for Healthy Projects

On March 5, Maggie LaPrise of EMMA Acres Dairy Farm in RI was a judge at the Adventure Capital Innovation Challenge in Providence. Schools competed for a chance to win $1,000 for healthy projects. The 10 winning ideas included a dairy farm field trip and student run cooking classes. All funding was provided by United Healthcare.
