Updates from New England Dairy Promotion Board

Nearly 2,500 People Attended Vermont Breakfast on the Farm

Breakfast on the Farm drew record crowds to Fairmont Farm in East Montpelier and Blue Spruce Farm in Bridport this summer.

Over 50% of attendees had never been to a farm, or had only been once or twice. Overall, survey results show the events increased trust in dairy farming in areas of animal care and environmental stewardship.
Dairy Farmers Featured in Boston TV & Online Sponsorships

This summer we traveled with our Must Be the Milk truck to 10 towns in Massachusetts with Boston 25 as part of their live morning Zip Trip segm ent. Four million people were reached with information about the importance of local dairy farms, dairy recipes and other dairy fun. Check out the segment featuring Smith's Country Cheese in Winchendon, MA.
We created a 15 second digital ad about how New England farmers care for their cows. In June and August, over 200,000 people in the Boston area watched the ad on websites while they browsed the web. Many visited the local farmer section of our website to learn about New England dairy farmers.
