2017 Sporting Clays
If you’re looking for a fun and unique way of supporting the Dan Beard Council, gather up three friends and come to the 2017 Sporting Clays event on Friday, June 9 at Elk Creek in Northern Kentucky.

PLN Dodgeball Challenge
Duck, dip, dive, and dodge your way toward claiming the title Dodgeball Champion in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. 

Teams of 6-10 will gather on June 10th at Washington Park to square off in the 7th annual PLN Dodgeball tournament.

Online Training For Boy Scout Leaders

Wake Up The Blob!
Join us on June 3 for our first "Wake Up The Blob" event at camp. The purpose of this event will be to facilitate a number of swim test prior to unit arrival at Camp Friedlander. Once swim tests are complete, Units will have the opportunity to have some fun on the blob.

COUNCIL HAPPENINGS
Five members of Cincinnati Caledonian Pipes & Drums performed traditional Scottish bagpipe tunes after lunch.  
Bagpipes at Spring Camp-O-Ree
Over 200 Scouts and Leaders from 12 Hopewell troops and two visiting troops from other DBC districts competed in the Clan competitions at the "Clash of Clans" themed Hopewell district Spring Camp-O-Ree.

Troop 20 earned first place honors in the “clash of the clans” competitions. Themed Events included Caber Toss, Stone put, Weight Throw, Maide Leisg (tug -of-war), and the traditional scout events like; doing a service project, archery challenge, campfire skit or song & golden spoon competition, a total of 16 events challenged our “Scottish” scouts.
