Help Make A Difference For Life! Camp Conservation Day - 11/12
Only through continued service can we ensure that the beautiful and natural areas of the Dan Beard Scout Reservation and Camp Michaels are preserved for future youth. Camp Conservation Days are an great way for boys to earn service hours while working to conserve our camp properties.

Units who plan on participating in the Council-Wide Soles4Souls Used Shoe Drive should plan to be at their district’s November Roundtable to learn more about this “Good-Turn” project.
The primary shoe collection day will be Scout Sunday, February 5, 2017 but non-religious Chartering Organizations can participate too.
Click here to see a locally produced video that can be shared with your Scouting families as well as the families within your Chartering Organization.

One of the core values of The Boy Scouts of America is to do your best to help other people at all times. Heimlich Heroes™ is the perfect way to train your Cub Scouts and Webelos to recognize and respond to a choking emergency. It only takes an hour and is easily facilitated by your Scout Master and older Boy Scouts. In the past 8 months four kids trained through Heimlich Heroes have saved lives of friends or family members who were choking.
