A Community-Wide Good Turn
Soles 4 Souls is a massive community-wide service project where Scout units come together to support a good-turn effort through the collection of "old shoes". Most families have lots of “old” shoes. This council-wide campaign asks packs, troops and crews to help in the collection of those shoes. As a part of Scout Sunday on February 11, 2018, units will work with their chartering organization to promote a used shoe drive to collect and turn in shoes.
Our goal in 2018 is to collect 25,000 pairs of shoes. Donated shoes are given to Soles 4 Souls who will distribute them to those in need – whether that is a third-world nation or a part of the United States that is impacted by a natural disaster.
Sign-up now to make sure your unit is ready to participate in February. Click the “Click Here to Sign-Up” link at to sign your unit up for the sale. Collection boxes and promotional posters will be distributed at January and February district roundtable meetings for participating units to use at their chartered organization.
