Check out new My.Scouting Updates which Includes Change of Position
Great news for units! The new Position Manager located in my.scouting will allow
Chartered Organization Representatives and their designees to change leader positions or assign functional positions such as Membership Chair in place of submitting applications to the council office. Position changes require an overnight sync before changes are reflected. A helpful how-to is located here.

This updates build upon the addition from last fall allowing parents and volunteers leaders to initiate in council transfer and multiple registrations online. This feature will be upgraded to allow transfers to a new council, and all records will automatically be transferred.

SCOUTING SAFELY
Youth Protection Training Must Remain Up-To-Date!

The safety of our Scouts is our most important priority. Youth Protection Training is required to be renewed every 2 years determined by the date it was taken, not by the recharter date. Volunteers and units should be aware
of Youth Protection Training expiration dates,
and make it a priority to renew training before expiration. An adult with expired youth protection is not a qualified Scout supervision and does not count towards 2-deep leadership.

Detailed instructions on how to run a Youth Protection Training Report for your unit can be found here

Volunteers, Access Youth Protection Training here.
