Thank You Scouts, Scouters & Families Who Attended the Camp Friedlander Homecoming & Re-dedication Ceremony!
On August 24, 2019, one hundred years after the original dedication of Camp Friedlander, over 350 people gathered to celebrate a century of Scouting and camping. Scouts, Scouters, families and the community at large came together for a weekend of camping, Scouting activities, and fun. The weekend culminated with a re-dedication ceremony that celebrated the 100 years of history at Camp Friedlander, and set the stage for the future. Ground was ceremoniously broken for a Centennial Plaza, that will stand as a permanent marker that celebrates the past, present, and future of camping in the Dan Beard Council.
