Dana Point Boaters -
Please Support Your DP Harbor Restaurants!
The bond between Dana Point Boaters and our harbor merchants is stronger, more interdependent, more symbiotic than you might think. Not only do we patronize our harbor shops and restaurants in return for their services, we are all siblings in the Dana Point Harbor family. Just as our nearly 3000 dry storage and wet slips boaters are paying tenants of this harbor, so are our merchant partners. We are all part of the same single entity called Dana Point Harbor. The financial viability and success of this fantastic place rely not only on us paying our slip rents, they depend on thriving businesses as well. Their success is our success.

When boaters have needed merchant support, they have always been there for us. When original plans for Harbor Revitalization called for a radical reduction in the number of slips, they fully supported our opposition and helped us achieve constraints on slip loss with the Coastal Commission. When we experienced boater parking challenges in the past, we made gains with cooperation from our merchants, not opposition. The list goes on.

Moreover, they are our friends. Most of the shops and restaurants have been owned and operated by the same families for decades, many since the harbor opened. The relationship between our Dana Point Harbor boaters and merchants is indeed a special and enduring one.

And now they need our support. These are strange days. And as we all know by now, these are enormously challenging days for so many businesses, our harbor restaurants included. Many of them remain open for curbside service. So remember, their success is our success. Please spare yourself a night of shopping or cooking and consider ordering your family's meal from our harbor restaurants. You can pick up your meal without even leaving your car - actually, please stay in your car. Let's show them the love from our boating community. And please mention your Boaters Association when ordering.

Here is a current list of Harbor restaurants open for curbside pickup. Click on each restaurant for links to their website and information on menus and operating hours:
Thank you for your support.

And finally this... Your DPBA leadership team is committed to protecting and advancing the interests of our Dana Point boating community. We are your voice on all matters affecting our harbor. But we only succeed with your support. Your attention, input and moral support most of all. But also financial support. It takes very little to fund what we do, but it's not free. Every dollar counts. If you can spare $10, $25, $50 or $100 to the cause, it goes a long way to keeping us on track, please click here to donate!  Thank you.
