Chamber Events

The Dana Point Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Dana Point, presents the Dana Point Lantern District Car & Motorcycle Show on Sunday, September 17th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Held on Del Prado between Violet Lantern and the PCH/Del Prado Archway, this event will feature hundreds of custom and classic cars, a motorcycle display, awards, great entertainment, food and more!  Come for the cars, stay for the great dining and shopping! 

Onsite Registration Will Be Available
Car Registration:  $50 day-of registration
Motorcycle Registration:  $20 day-of registration  

An after hours mixer for members and non-members is hosted at a different Dana Point Chamber member venue every third Thursday of the month.  Join us at 5:30pm for drinks (2 drink tickets with admission), light appetizers and the opportunity to network with citizens and businesses in our strong Dana Point community.

Work the room to promote yourself, generate new business leads and build relationships with other Dana Point professionals. 

Purchase raffle tickets at the event to be entered for wonderful prizes donated by our Chamber members.

Don't let its name fool you. Monarch Beach Market is much more than a traditional grocery store and deli. The upscale coastal-themed market with fine food, wine and craft beer on tap recently opened an indoor dining area featuring two HD flat screen TV's with sports and children's programming. A new outdoor, dog friendly patio space in two separate sections is now completed.
Monarch Beach Market is located in the Monarch Beach Promenade shopping center at 24040 Camino del Avion in Dana Point. 

During the Prado West construction, Pacific Coast Highway and Del Prado shops, restaurants, and businesses are open!

2017 International Coastal Cleanup Day Salt Creek Beach Park

On Sept. 16, Surfrider Foundation chapters and clubs across the country will participate in International Coastal Cleanup Day (ICCD). In partnership with volunteer organizations and individuals around the globe, Surfrider engages people to remove trash from the world's beaches waterways, identify the sources of debris, and change the behaviors that cause marine debris in the first place.

South Orange County Job Fair

Outlets at San Clemente has partnered with four local Chambers of Commerce, including San Clemente, Dana Point, Laguna Niguel and San Juan Capistrano to hold a job fair with more than 75 South Orange County businesses and Outlets at San Clemente tenants participating. More than 1,500 full-time, part-time and seasonal positions will be available to fill. Applicants are encouraged to bring pens and multiple copies of their resume or work history. Professional attire is strongly recommended.

"Laughs for Leathernecks" Comedy Show to Benefit 5th Marine Regiment

A star-studded line-up of national touring comedians are coming together on Monday, October 2nd at the Irvine Improv to host the Fifth Annual Laughs for Leathernecks, a benefit "fun-d raiser" for the Dana Point 5th Marines Regiment Support Group (DPMRSG). 

The public is invited to attend and/or sponsor a Marine for an evening out by visiting the DPMRSG website and purchasing tickets. The DPMRSG goal is to treat 125 Marines and their guests to a night of camaraderie and comedy and are asking members of the community to "Sponsor a Marine" as there are still Marines waiting who would like to attend.  

The evening will also include a Silent Auction and raffle. Doors open at 5:30 pm with the show beginning at 7:00 p.m. The $35 price includes dinner provided by Umami Burger chefs, the show and a donation to DPMRSG; there is a no-host bar. 

Hunger Walk 30 Year Anniversary

The Annual FAM Hunger Walk fundraiser is a fun walk beginning and ending at the San Clemente Community Center. The FAM Board of Directors and staff invite you to participate in our Walk by signing up and helping us raise money, becoming an official sponsor or making a donation.

For nearly 30 years this walk has raised funds to help prevent hunger and homelessness in Orange County. In 2017 we aim to gather more people than ever to raise money for those FAM serves. 

Come join our 30th year as we walk to end hunger in South Orange County!

Chamber Seeks Hosts for Networking Events

Looking to get more people through your doors?  We are currently searching for hosts for 2017 Networking at Noon dates, and have already begin to book our Third Thursday Mixers for 2018!  Hosting an event allows you to promote your company/venue to business leaders in Orange County.  It is a fantastic networking opportunity and is a great way to showcase your services first-hand to fellow Chamber members.
Donating a raffle prize is also a great way to market your business. When you donate to our Third Thursday Mixer raffle, you will have your logo, linked to your website, featured in our e-blasts!

Chamber of Commerce  Scholarship Fund

The Dana Point Chamber members are committed to continued education, not just for current business owners but also for future entrepreneurs.  That's why we've created scholarships for Dana Hills High School students.

Over the past three years we have donated $19,000 to Dana Hills High School students and next year we'd like to support even more students and we need your help! Help us reach our goal of  $5,000 to help five students! Pledge a donation to the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce for the Dana Hills High School Awards Program. Awards are presented at the Dana Hills High School Senior Awards ceremony.
