Dana Point Harbor P3 Master Lease Agreement On OC Board Of Sups' Approval Docket
We hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th of July holiday! Unfortunately, our previous eNewsletter was delivered with two errors due to an internet outage, we've corrected them below, our sincere apology!
Our thanks to the many boaters who attended the DPHAB meeting last Monday evening. There The County as well Dana Point Harbor Partners (aka DPHP, the proposed master leaseholder) discussed the status and next steps for Dana Point Harbor revitalization. Your DPBA has obtained all the official documents for the upcoming Regular Meeting of the County Board of Supervisors on July 17th, 2018 at 9:30AM. Agenda Item #27 will be held at BOARD HEARING ROOM, FIRST FLOOR, 333 W. Santa Ana Blvd., 10 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California.
Yes, you read this right! The master lease agreement authorizing the long awaited private-public-partnership (P3), to rebuild and operate the harbor for the next 66 years, is finally ready for Orange County Board of Supervisors review and approval. Your DPBA has already started our review of deal specifics, all 845 pages, and meeting with DPHP again yesterday to review and extensively discuss their preliminary plans for marina redesign and new dock construction.
And finally this... Your DPBA leadership team is committed to protecting and advancing the interests of our Dana Point boating community. We are your voice on all matters affecting our harbor.
