Dana Point Times: Our Home Port - Redeeming a Killer

In this month's Dana Point Times Our Home Port column, DPBA president James Lenthall asks if Dana Point Harbor has redeemed itself for the death of the legendary Killer Dana surf break.

Dana Point Marina Company Update:

We are currently repainting 4 of our 8 service buildings - which will be completed in the next week which should also have minimal boater impact.

We just contracted to sleeve 8 dock pilings this spring and are waiting for a start date from the contractor.  We'll let you know when we have the dates.   A few boats near to the affected pilings will need to be relocated during the project, and there will be a little noise associated.  We have instructed that the project should be completed no later than May avoid the high season. Stay tuned for further updates!

And finally this... Your DPBA leadership team is committed to protecting and advancing the interests of our Dana Point boating community. We are your voice on all matters affecting our harbor. But we only succeed with your support. Your attention, input and moral support most of all. But also financial support. It takes very little to fund what we do, but it's not free. Every dollar counts. If you can spare $10, $25, $50 or $100 to the cause, it goes a long way to keeping us on track, please click here to donate!  Thank you.
