Fall is finally here, and we will be getting you into a Halloween mood at Our First Thursday Dance on October 3rd. Ralph Hunn will be teaching a Bolero lesson at 5:30. Please bring a dish to share for our community table.

CARIBBEAN NIGHT WAS SO MUCH FUN! Almost 100 attended and Ralph did a great Merengue lesson. Sorry if you missed it! So many nice Caribbean outfits and a lot of food!

Ralph Hunn was kept very busy! He taught a great Merengue lesson and he was the DJ for the evening. And if that wasn't enough he did a demo with his 6 year student, Kathy Fortner, followed by a lesson with Charlene who has been taking lessons with him for a little over a year.

LA BELLE AMIE VINEYARDS ON OCTOBER 5TH Please join BDPS members and friends for a fun social afternoon sipping on wine and listening to the Starduster Big Band under the trees at the La Belle Amie Vineyards in Little River. Casual Night of Dancing at the Calabash Elks Lodge

We had a lot of fun dancing to the music of JT and the Strats at the Calabash Elks Lodge back in July. We will be doing it again on October 26th from 6 pm to 9 pm. CASUAL NIGHT OF DANCING AT THE MYRTLE BEACH MOOSE LODGE

We had such a fun night dancing at he Myrtle Beach Moose Lodge back in August, that the general consensus of the crowd was "let's do this again!" The casual atmosphere, the great food at reasonable prices made for such a fun night, we are doing it again on November 2nd and then again on December 28th. The dance floor is a bit smaller than some of our venues so we are limiting our ticket sales to a total of 70. BDPS members only may purchase tickets to the Novemeber 2nd dance until October 1st, and then they are open to everyone else. Another great benefit of being a BDPS member! The ticket price is $7 for BDPS Members and $9 for non-members. See the purchase ticket link further down in this newsletter.

BALLROOM LESSONS AT BRUNSWICK SENIOR RESOURCE CENTER IN CALABASH- The beginner group from last year has returned at a more advanced level. Over 20 students that had taken lessons with Sal last year have returned to learn more! This class will continue at 1 pm on Mondays. If you have danced some ballroom before and want to learn more, feel free to join this free class. If you are a beginner, a new class is forming and you should come at 2 pm. The center is located at 10050 Beach Drive in Calabash.
