ļ»æCelebrating Lakewoodās agricultural heritage with an entertaining mix of live performances, activities and tasty harvest treats, the annual Cider Days Festival offers fun and excitement for the entire family!
This event includes tractor pulls and vintage power displays, wagon and barrel train rides along with other childrenās activities, historic demonstrations and a unique variety of exhibitors and vendors. The Cider Days Festival wouldnāt be complete without everything apple ā including apple pressing, apple cider by the glass or gallon, and more.

Autumn marks the season for all things pumpkin. Dogs, too, love the taste of pumpkin, and it can even offer some health benefits (like relief from both diarrhea and constipation.) But since dogs canāt join you in sipping that pumpkin spiced latte, weāve found some ways you can help them enjoy the flavors of fall.
Note: Make sure you offer only canned pureed pumpkin, not canned pumpkin pie mix, which has added sugars and spices. As with any treat, give your dog these snacks in moderation.

Frozen Pumpkin

Directions
- Mix pumpkin and yogurt together in a bowl

Divide the mixture evenly into an ice tray or molds
- Freeze for 24 hours
- Pop the treats out of the mold and put into a freezer bag for storage. You can also leave them in the ice tray if you have space in your freezer!

Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375Ā°F
- In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin and peanut butter
- Stir in the flour and combine the mixture into a dough
- Roll out the dough onto a floured surface

Cut the dough into shapes with your favorite cookie cutter
- Place the treats half an inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet
- Bake for 12 minutes

Directions
- Preheat oven to 350Ā°F.
- Mix eggs, banana, and pumpkin together. Add flour and mix until all the flour is incorporated.

Lightly dust the counter and a rolling pin with flour, then roll out dough to approximately 1/8ā³ and cut out treats.
- Lay on a baking sheet and bake for approximately 20 minutes. Cool completely before giving to your pup!

So, The Boss said, āOld is good if youāre gathering in life.ā And thatās just what Iām doing. I will be spending my nights in a king sized bed with my new Mom as we gather in our dreams together. I cannot wait to meet her and the rest of the family! And I get a new Corgi brother too. Life is truly good as I gather it in.

This couldnāt be more true! Ocean is full of mystery and wonderment, and her family ls definitely under her spell. Ocean will live with Gary, an RMGDRI alum, and Irma- her Doberman sister, and will be a treasured member of her family for all of her days. We are so happy for Ocean and her family! Congrats to you!

I am so happy to report I am a victim of Foster Failure. Thatās right!!! My Foster Parents have invited me to live with them forever and I could not be happier! I get to hang with my new brother Dane and he decided he would be happy to share family cuddles and love with me. Can a girl get any luckier than this??

ļ»æAnother Successful Foster Failure! Yes, thatās right, 10 year old Me gets to live out my years with a 10 month old Dane Puppy ā I will be teaching her a thing or two. I was fostered with her and we are already Besties and I am so happy I get to stay with her and my Foster Family. Yay, Ella!!!

This is a picture of me with my human dad and doggy bro and sis!! (Iām the good looking one in the middle) I came here as a foster right around my human mumās birthday. I think that had something to do with this being my forever home now. Yippee!
My new Sis and Bro are a bit older than me but still play and chase around, especially my new Sister. I think she loves me ā I love her anyway, and I love being here. Thereās lots of space for me to chase around with my new siblings, and my human dad takes us on long walks in the fields! Itās so much fun!! Sometimes, when Bro and Sis donāt want to go out ā you know, coz theyāre old, or itās raining ā just him and me will go. Then we walk for miles where thereās so much to see and do and explore and ā¦ you know, just overwhelming!!
Speaking of which I do get a bit to excited with all these new experiences so Iām going to special training so I can learn how to act properly around other humans and their doggy friends. Itās exhausting and hard to learn sometimes, but I heard my dad saying to my mum that he thinks Iām learning fast and have all my basic commands already!! Iāve already learned to come back when called, even if Iāve seen a rabbit I want to play with!! When we get back we all relax and snuggle together. Iām not allowed on the furniture but sometimes my dad comes and lays on the floor with us all, and he lets me lay on him . Thanks for putting me in such a great home where everyone loves me. Iām soooo glad they are foster failures!!
