A public grand opening celebration will be held Thursday, Feb. 12, at 5 p.m. The event is open to the public and will include a reception, guided tours of the new facilities and athletic demonstrations highlighting the park’s expanded recreational offerings.

The PATCH Fresh Food Box Program
The Dania Beach PATCH and The Fruitful Field are happy to partner with Feeding South Florida and Florida Organic Growers to offer residents living or attending/teaching schools in Dania Beach to participate in a Fresh Food Box program that includes weekly seasonal fresh food. $20 per box; EBT/SNAP receive 50% off. The program runs from Box pick-up is on Tuesdays from 4 to 6 p.m. or Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Ignite Broward Returns to Dania Beach February 13-22
The City of Dania Beach is proud sponsor. IGNITE Broward is a free, annual light and technology art festival in Dania Beach, Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale featuring large-scale, immersive installations, interactive sculptures, projection mapping and sound experiences by local, national and international artists, presented by the Broward County Cultural Division and produced by MAD Arts. It transforms public spaces into vibrant, interactive art experiences for all ages, often with public programming like workshops, talks, prototype presentation and more. Complimentary shuttles to each location on selected days.

Summer Camp In-Person Registration
Registration for summer camps begins March 28 for Dania Beach residents at each community center location (Frost, CW Thomas and IT Parker). The registration schedule is Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. You must bring all necessary supporting documents for registration in person.
Resident: $500 / Registration begins March 28
Non-Resident: $675 / Registration begins Apr 4
Reduced Resident Rate:** $380
** Proof of participation in Broward County Schools' free or reduced-price lunch program is required.

Frost Park Flea Markets
The next Junior Flea Market will be held on February 21, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dania Beach's Junior Flea Market at Frost Park is designed for young entrepreneurs aged 5 to 17 to showcase their creativity and entrepreneurial spirit by selling kid-friendly items like clothing, shoes, jewelry, toys, games, video games, arts and crafts, and more. Vendor spots are incredibly affordable at just $10, but remember, children must be accompanied by an adult.
To secure a vendor spot for a future flea market, you must register in person at Frost Park located at 300 NE 2nd Street, Dania Beach, FL 33004. Vendor solicitation is NOT available online.

Flea Market: March 7, October 17 and December 14. Vendor applications are not available online.

Bulk Waste Collections 2026 (February 9 - 14)
The 2026 schedule is coming soon! Know your zone. Our goal is to be clean and beautiful, please follow the guidelines on bulk waste collection. If you observe a violation, contact our Code Compliance division.
- DO NOT place curbside earlier than 24 hours prior to scheduled pick-up date. Failure to abide by this regulation will result in a fine issued to the property owner, in addition to recovering cost associated with removal of the trash.
- Bulk pickup is for six cubic yards maximum.
- Special bulk pickup can also be arranged for a charge by calling Waste Management. Do not put out material until arrangements have been made.
- Commercial and multi-family dwellings are excluded from bulk pickup service.
Remember, bulk trash is for six cubic yards maximum.

Broward County animal ordinances require that every dog, cat and ferret in our community receive a rabies vaccination. In addition, by law, dogs and cats must have and wear a Broward County Pet Rabies Registration Tag on their collar. Not only does a rabies vaccination protect your pet against getting the rabies virus, it also safeguards residents and other animals from the spread of the deadly disease throughout our community.
