Abbigail Best is just 26, but she's already working on her third Dallas CASA case. She went through training shortly after graduating from the University of Arkansas and beginning her professional life in Dallas.

Her commitment at a young age is not unusual for Dallas CASA, where 49% of newly trained volunteers in 2023 were in their 20s or 30s.

Dallas CASA's 29th annual Parade of Playhouses, presented by Crest Cadillac, closed June 30. The event, hosted by NorthPark Center, featured 13 custom children's playhouses on display and available to be won by raffle.
