National Darby's Dancers Organization Registration

The Darby's Dancers national organization requires that all dancers are registered with the national organization. Woodbury Dance Center has already sent in registration information for each student.

There is a $95 enrollment fee for the national organization annually. Below are three options in regards to the enrollment fee.

WDC Darby's Dancers fundraising will cover your dancer's fee.
Parents may pay part of the fee to the national organization and have WDC Darby's Dancers fundraising cover the balance. Please notify us if you would like to use this option.
Parents may choose to pay the $95 enrollment fee. Payment will be made to Darby's Dancers through WDC (cash or check preferred) at our front desk.

Important Dates

Holiday Breaks and Important Dates – Mark Your Calendar!

Thanksgiving: No classes Wednesday, November 27th - Saturday, November 30th

Holiday break: No classes Friday, December 20th - Wednesday, January 1st

Spring break: No Darby's Dancers classes Saturday, March 8th - Saturday, March 15th

Picture Week: Monday, April 7th - Saturday, April 12th

Last Class Days: Tuesday, May 13th & Saturday, May 17th

Dress Rehearsal Dates: Monday, May 19th - Thursday, May 22nd**

Recital Dates: May 27th - 31st at East Ridge High School in Woodbury**

**Exact recital & dress rehearsal dates will be posted the beginning of February**

WDC Events

FOOD DRIVE — We are having a food drive in November for the Open Cupboard food shelf in Oakdale. Dancers are encouraged to bring in non-perishable food items and drop them off near the front desk between November 1st-16th. Below is a list of items that the food shelf is requesting at this time of year.

Items the food shelf is requesting–

Meats, fish, and protein: canned tuna, ham or chicken, beef stew, chili, peanut butter, canned/dried beans
Fruits and vegetables: 100% fruit juice, canned fruits and vegetables, instant potatoes, fruit preserves
Complete meals: pasta & sauce, boxed meals, hearty soups

Double Good Popcorn Fundraiser

Later this month ALL WDC DANCERS will be invited to participate in our Double Good Popcorn Fundraiser that will support the Darby’s Dancer Program. The fundraiser will start November 15th. Please look for more information about this fundraiser to be sent via email in the next couple weeks.

WINTER IS HERE!! If we plan to cancel classes due to extreme weather, we will send emails, post information on our web site, in the BAND app, on the WDC Facebook Page and on our voicemail. Please be sure to check in if you are unsure whether or not classes will be held.

BAND App

At WDC we use the BAND app to help connect instructors with dancers/parents and also to keep parents updated throughout the season. Newsletters and important updates will be posted in the Darby's Dancers BAND app group. See the link below. Later in the season, instructors will post recital music and videos as the dancers prepare for our annual recital.
