National Organization

We are excited to be starting our 2026-2027 season for Darby's Dancers at WDC! Below is some updated information regarding the enrollment process for Darby's Dancers national organization.

The Darby's Dancers national organization requires that all dancers are registered with the national organization. The studio will send information in for each student so they are registered. Parents will not need to do anything for registration.

There is a $65 enrollment fee for the national organization annually, Below are three options for the enrollment fee. Please let us know if you have any questions.

WDC Darby's Dancers fundraising will cover your dancer's fee.
Parents may pay part of the fee to the national organization and have WDC Darby's Dancers fundraising cover the balance. Please notify us if you would like to use this option.
Parents may choose to pay the $65 enrollment fee. Payment can be made to Darby's Dancers through WDC (cash or check preferred but cards also accepted) at our front desk.

Dance Wear and Shoes

Darby's Dancers students may stop in the WDC boutique to be sized for shoes and choose dance wear if you have not already done so. Below are our studio boutique hours.

Mondays 1:00-8:00pm

Tuesdays 9:30am-8:00pm

Wednesdays 9:30-8:00pm

Thursdays 9:30-8:00pm

Fridays 9:30-8:00pm

Saturdays 9:00-1:00pm

Sundays CLOSED

Jazz or ballet shoes needed for classes including jazz.

For hip hop classes, dancers may wear their own clean tennis shoes or jazz shoes.

IMPORTANT DATES

Holiday Breaks

MEA - No Darby's Dancers classes on Saturday, October 17th

Thanksgiving Break - Wednesday, November 25th - Saturday, November 28th

Winter Break: Monday, December 21st - Saturday, January 2nd

Spring Break: No classes Saturday, March 13th - Saturday, March 20th

Halloween Dress Up — Dancers are invited to wear a costume to class on Saturday, October 31st. Darby's classes will be held on Saturday, October 31st.

Picture Week

Darby's Dancers will have group and individual photos taken in costume at WDC Main on Tuesday, April 13th/Saturday, April 17th. Please mark your calendars. We will have a more specific schedule at a later date.

Dress Rehearsals

Dress rehearsals will be held at WDC West May 24th-27th. Darby's classes will only have to attend one of these dates. Schedule will be sent out in February.

Recital 2027

Recitals will be held Tuesday, June 1st - Saturday, June 5th at East Ridge High School in Woodbury. Each Darby's class will perform in one recital that week. Schedule will be released in February.

BAND APP

If you have not already joined the BAND app, please do so using the link below or scanning the QR code. Instructors will post practice videos and messages to dancers in the app. We will also post links to newsletters and reminders in the app regularly.

We are using the same Darby's Dancers BAND as last season, so there is no need to join again if you already did last season.

Dance Bags and Shirts

We now have Darby's Dancers dance bags available for new students to pick up at the front desk. Bags are provided at no cost to the dancers.

We have a limited quantity of Darby's Dancers t-shirts available which can be found near the front desk. New students are encouraged to pick up a t-shirt at no cost.
