Dart™ with Direct Push Tooling enables rapid, high-resolution, data acquisition without the cost and hassles of drilling.
Using Dart with Direct Push enables advanced, hand-portable NMR logging to be deployed in a wide variety of remote field locations with high efficiency and minimized footprint using small rig equipment.

Direct Push percussion is applied as required when advancing Dart probes through sands, gravels, hard pans, high friction clays, tills, fill materials, and surface frost.

This not only reduces time and cost; it also avoids the hassles of dealing with displaced material from drilling.

Vista Clara Dart is the world’s only NMR logging tool that can be deployed with Direct Push.

Case Study: Managed Aquifer Recharge in the Cosumnes River Basin, Central California
The Cosumnes River is one of the few remaining dam-free rivers on the west slope of the Sierra Nevada. Declining groundwater levels have caused the river to periodically run dry in certain sections. This has led to the sub-basin to be designated as a critically over-drafted groundwater basin.

Deployment of Vista Clara, Inc Javelin® Wireline Tool, the Dart™ DP140 Direct Push Probe, as well as GMR™ and GMR-Flex™ surface instruments provided various techniques to directly measure the aquifer properties across the Cosumnes River Basin. The objective was to characterize the subsurface hydrogeology in support of assessing the suitability of these locations for managed aquifer recharge, and for assessing the impacts of potential MAR activities on the underlying aquifers and streamflow.

Pacific Surveys Offers Advanced Javelin Max NMR Logging in Large Diameter Boreholes
The Javelin Max JPX525 NMR logging tool is uniquely capable of logging medium to large diameter groundwater wells with borehole sizes ranging from 6 inches to 18 inches.

These types of large diameter wells are very common for groundwater production and aquifer storage and recovery in the Western United States, and also for groundwater remediation projects including pump and treat facilities.

Pacific Surveys, LLC owns and operates Javelin NMR logging tools, enabling them to economically service customers throughout California.

Darya Morozov, PhD, joins Vista Clara as Principal NMR Scientist
We are pleased to announce the addition of Darya Morozov, PhD, to the Vista Clara team. Darya completed her doctorate in chemistry under supervision of Prof. Yoram Cohen at Tel Aviv University (Israel). She continued postdoctoral research in pre-clinical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at Biomedical Magnetic Research Laboratory (BMRL), Washington University in Saint Louis.

At Vista Clara, Darya will act as a principal investigator for Federally funded R&D projects. Darya will play a leading role in planning, executing, and communicating multiple R&D projects. In addition, she will manage and mentor junior R&D team members.
