It's Dyslexia Awareness Month and time for you to sign up for the Dyslexia Dash! The funds raised from the Dyslexia Dash allow our Branch to provide scholarships and grants for teacher training and outreach initiatives.
There are lots of ways you can participate in the 2022 Dyslexia Dash:
Runner/Walker (Fast or Slow! In-person or Virtual!)

The in-person Dyslexia Dash has a 5K fun run/walk. The first three finishers of each age category win the prized Dyslexia Dash medal! In addition, there is a 1-mile fun run/walk for children under 10 years of age or under. Parents are welcome to join their children in this race.
Along with the fun of running with your family and/or friends, there also will be a kids’ fun zone, rock painting, a DJ, sponsor tables, information booths (IDA-GA, RLGA, DDGA), a 50/50 draw -- and NEW THIS YEAR, a no-cost chance for teachers to win prizes!
Virtual racers choose their own course and can post their times. As soon as you register, you can run the race and post your time anytime through October 22, 2022.
All registrants will receive the 2022 Dyslexia Dash t-shirt and a race bag.

Are you interested in volunteering at check-in or the water station? How about the kids' area? Want to get the thrill of handing out the medals to the winners or the t-shirts to runners after the race? Do you love taking photos? Do you enjoy painting? Buy tickets for a chance to win $$$! The total amount raised will be split 50/50 with the winner. Tickets can be purchased online up to October 19. Tickets can also be purchased in-person at the race up until 9:00 am. The draw for the winner will occur at 9:15 am. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT TO WIN! The winner will receive a check in the mail after the race for their share of the winnings.

Order from the Dash Store when you register for the race at RunSignUp. Dash in-person participants will pick up their caps on the day of the race; virtual runners will receive their caps in the mail along with their Dash t-shirt and bag after the race.
