Program Updates & Closure Reminder

Has your agency or program experienced any closures or updates? Don't forget to let us know as these changes happen so we can keep your information up to date for your program operations and mandating reporting each year. Please reach out to hmis@sacstepsforward.org in a timely manner to make any necessary updates. Thank you for your attention to this important process.

August HMIS Social Security Number Updates

In August, there will be an update allowing users to enter a non-numeric character for any digits of a client's Social Security Number (SSN) that are unknown or refused by the client. The system will then automatically convert these non-numeric characters to an “x.” This update will have no impact on your work in HMIS. Stay tuned for an additional e-blast with further details.
