MA Coalition for the Homeless Legislative Action Day on March 7

There is a new training series being offered by the Three County Continuum of Care and the Western Mass Network to End Homelessness. Presented by Racial Equity Partners, the series offers two online sessions, each exploring a topic that will deepen participants’ understanding of the impact of structural racism. Topics include Understanding Trauma-informed Racial Equity on March 21 and Diversity at Work: Representation & Belonging on April 25. Participants should plan to attend BOTH sessions.

The Community Foundation’s partnership with the Hampden County Bar Association connects you with a lawyer for free legal advice through the “Lawyer for a Day” program. Volunteer attorneys provide brief out-of-court legal advice on structural issues, such as obtaining a 501c exemption letter, creating a governance structure, and tax implications of grants.
