*NEW* 2018 Focus Group Report and Executive Summary
This April, we conducted several focus groups and interviews at the NPEA national conference in New Orleans in order to determine the following:
  • How are members involved in working with data in general and with NDC in particular?
  • What are their impressions of NDC products (including the Indicators List/Tool, summaries of findings, dashboard comparisons, and others)?
  • What impacts has NDC had on members and how they work with data? How have members used NDC and data to make program changes and inform practice?
  • Looking ahead, what can NPEA do to best support data work among member organizations and schools?

We encourage you to read the Executive Summary and Full Report, and let us know if you have any questions.
NPEA sent out a recent Eyes on The Field email, capturing current research and articles connected to NDC Indicator 9, and more specifically financial aid gap resources. We hope this will be a helpful resource for you.
We will be embarking on the third round of data collection from members this Fall. For those who have completed the Data Collection Tool before, it will look very familiar, with just a few revisions to questions based on member input and conversations. If you are new to NPEA and/or this will be your first time completing the Data Collection Tool, feel free to reach out to Karin Elliott with any questions.

Roblyn Brigham from Brigham Nahas Research Associates will once again conduct the analysis. We hope to share initial and helpful results by early spring.

Stay tuned for more information coming shortly!
If you have a data-related resource to share with NPEA and/or would like to be featured in a Spotlight, we encourage you to complete our NPEA Updates Form.
