The Daughters of R.E. Nelms Temple No. 1127 of the Improved Benevolent Protective Order of Elks of the World will host an inaugural Rainbow Scholarship Gala at 6:30 p.m. on December 8, 2023, at the Stone Event Center, in Huntsville. The event will feature Madison County Commissioner Violet Edwards (District 6) as the guest speaker. The Gala will be held in the Stone Event Center from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.; seating will begin at 5:30.
Tickets for the banquet are $50.00 per person, $400.00 for a reserved table of 8, and can be purchased from any member of the R. E. Nelms Temple, or by calling 256-262-7918.
All proceeds will go towards scholarships which will be awarded each year to a deserving student attending Alabama A&M University.
Tickets and seating will only be available for purchase until November 30, 2023.
