The people, Board Members, members and CREDC clients and working with an organization of businesses collective working to do good stuff in our region.
Aside from colleagues at your Chamber, which Chamber Executive has had the biggest impact on your career and how?
The late Cliff Jones, who was interim CEO here on several occasions, CEO of the PA Chamber, worked in senior roles for 6 PA Governor's and always had words of wisdom was a mentor.I was fortunate during the course of my career to have a number of jobs working with a number of senior leaders before coming to the Chamber & CREDC that have provided guidance over the years.
What is your Chamber's signature event?
Our Annual Spring Event, we bring in a big name speaker, have a great networking hour+, pack a ballroom at the Hershey Lodge and hear a great message.I know you didn't ask, but the other one is our Catalyst Awards in December of each year, celebrating the best the Harrisburg Region has in terms of businesses and people.
What is your favorite destination outside of the one you represent and why?
Several, in PA: Clarion and Pittsburgh, my hometown and one of PA's great cities.My happy place is North Carolina's OBX.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Roy Rogers!You didn't specify an age.
Why is PACP important to you?
I like the ideas of state based chambers working together on common policy goals.
