Upcoming Virtual Event
The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. will host a virtual Signature Event on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. EST.

David Rubenstein will interview Gregory J. Hayes, Chief Executive Officer of Raytheon Technologies Corporation, as the company marks the one-year anniversary of United Technologies Corporation's merger with Raytheon Company, which created one of the world's largest aerospace and defense companies with 180,000 employees and $57 billion in net annual sales.

The interview is expected to cover, among other things, the pandemic's impact on the company's commercial aerospace businesses – Pratt & Whitney and Collins Aerospace -- and how those businesses are supporting industry recovery efforts; the technological innovations in Raytheon's Missiles and Defense division; and the role of Raytheon's Intelligence and Space division as the private space industry continues to grow.

The interview is also expected to include a conversation on Raytheon's growing Corporate Social Responsibility investments, including the components of their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion commitments.
