UPCOMING VIRTUAL EVENT
The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. will host a virtual Signature Event on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET. David Rubenstein will interview The Honorable Pete Buttigieg, U.S. Secretary of Transportation.

The conversation is expected to cover, among other things, recent Congressional and White House negotiations regarding the $1.2 trillion Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework and how the new funding would address existing issues in the United States' transportation and digital infrastructure.

The interview is also expected to include the future of transportation, self-driving and electric vehicles, and public transit and passenger rail as the Biden Administration seeks to mitigate the impacts of climate change.
