The Economic Club of Washington, D.C. will host a virtual Signature Event on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. EST. David Rubenstein will interview, in two separate segments, The Honorable Rochelle P. Walensky, MD, MPH, Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and The Honorable Muriel E. Bowser, Mayor of Washington, D.C.
In the first segment, David will interview Hon. Rochelle P. Walensky, MD, MPH on, among other things, the current state of the pandemic, recent news regarding COVID-19 vaccines, and the way forward.
In the second segment, David will interview Hon. Muriel E. Bowser on, among other things, the current state of the pandemic in Washington, D.C., COVID-19 vaccine allocation and distribution in the region, and the way forward to economic recovery and a return to normalcy.
