As we continue to Count the Omer from Passover to Pentecost, we reach Day #10. Anyone with basic Bible knowledge should know what #10 represents in scripture. The #10 represents the 10 commandments, the Mosaic Law which is the original Foundation of all functioning Judeo-Christian based democratic government. 

 
There is a story about former President Obama calling for a meeting with the top historians in the country in the early days of his presidency. With just 5 months experience in the Oval Office, he wanted their advice on what to name his Presidential legacy.  FDR gave us expanded government powers with "The New Deal;" Lyndon Johnson labelled his expansive welfare agenda "The Great Society."  

Obama floated the idea of calling his ideological agenda "A New Foundation." While I don't believe his human secularist philosophies ever crystallized into a succinct title, it seems eerily prescient that his suggested legacy name fits perfectly with the new brand of Leftism he helped emerge. He sensed that the U.S. was ripe to move off its original foundational Biblical underpinnings. It is not surprising that Obama attempted to identify "a new foundation" because everyone would agree that NO FOUNDATION is patently ludicrous!

In architectural engineering, it is not necessarily the building strength that survives an earthquake but the integrity and soundness of the foundation. For instance, scientists have studied why some structures suffer catastrophic collapse while others come out virtually unscathed during a major quake. They found the underlying factor in the failed buildings to be faulty foundations that are constructed on sandy soil. When an earthquake strikes, the rocking back and forth literally LIQUEFIES the sandy foundation whereas the firm foundation moves along with the building acting as a cradle of support. 

 
As a nation, we have already moved off the gold standard for our currency. We also continue to move off the gold standard of the Bible for our foundational principles. Will our "new foundation" survive the next political or economic earthquake? 

Let's take a look. Just as there are 7 Deadly Sins in Judeo-Christian theology, this new geo-political underpinning has its own 7 Deadly Sins. Here's a glimpse of the frightening new "foundational sins" proposed by the human secularism of a so-called "neutral" public square:

Let's closely examine each one:

The "Sin" of Inequality: Even children understand that life is not always fair or even. Some are short, some are tall. Some learn faster and others play sports better. There is always going to be someone with more looks, brains, money and talent than us. However, our current obsession with this "sin" comes from fostering hatred between all people groups. We have all heard the term "Divide and Conquer." Any country that is divided is easy to conquer. Jealousy is a necessary requirement to stir up unrest. 

 
The "Sin" of Gender: Apparently now, if you are a woman who doesn't want those born with penises in your restroom, you are marked as an irrational "hater." If you are an athlete that wants to compete fairly against your own natural gender, you are "transphobic." Simply being born male automatically marks you as a future predator and potential abuser. No one is more reviled today than an older white male. Wouldn't that be defined as Ageist Racist Sexism? Not according to this mixed up new creed.

The "Sin" against Mother Nature: This lie seems to be "been there, done that" yet we continue to fall for it all over again. Wasn't it considered the height of ignorance back in the 1970's not to believe in Global Cooling? Now it's Global Warming. Apparently, that phrase is also too restrictive, and it has been renamed to a more generic "Climate Change." If this wasn't so sad, it would be hilarious. Was there ever a time in recorded history that we didn't have "climate change??" They all sum up to one evil agenda: DEATH. The "cure" for these so-called "sins" is always touted as LESS PEOPLE on the planet. That can only be accomplished through more abortion, euthanasia, forced sterilization and mass genocidal holocausts. 

 
The "Sin" of Success: We now promote laziness and lack of personal responsibility as a virtue. Ironically, modern man has achieved the absolute highest standard of living ever recorded in history! So...WHY are we so angry with wealthy and successful people? The only answer I can seem to come up with is plain and simple ENVY. There is also a complete lack of thankfulness and gratitude for the many and multiple blessings that we enjoy. We are not only seeing the glass as half empty-we are petulantly throwing the other half in the face of our fellow mankind. Covetousness is a demon "virtue" in this false religion. 

The "Sin" of Capitalism: Take one look at the current crop of rising global politicians and you will recognize that Socialism (aka "Marxism-lite") is rapidly growing in approval. This is despite the obvious evidence that nothing raises people out of poverty more efficiently that a free market system. With the obvious and well-recorded societal implosion of Venezuela, it would seem self-evident that this ideology is both dangerous and evil. However, in the fake religion of human secularism, laziness is piously elevated to a moral virtue. 

 
The "Sin" of Borders:  This is a shadow type of demonic hatred that is really directed at the spiritual realm. The devil HATES standards. He HATES rules. He HATES the citizenship of God's Kingdom which is entered by bowing down to God and His requirements. However, in this crazy new world order, both temporal and spiritual borders must either be non-existent or fluid. When we remember that the spirit of anti-Christ is a spirit of lawlessness, then we can recognize how evil this really is. "Imagine" is the new national theme song in this messed up belief system. The Tower of Babel was constructed when man "imagined" he could build a tower to heaven.

 
The "Sin" of Believing in One True God: The new social "progressives" are squarely set against people of faith in the One True God and the One True Way through Jesus Christ. Suddenly Christians are considered criminal if we refuse to sanction a clearly aberrant behavior or celebrate a false demon-religion. Almost any type of behavior is tolerated today except--"Self-god" forbid--living outwardly as a devout Christ-follower (ssshhhhhhh!). That simply will not be tolerated. 

 
This "New World Order" of fake sins is already growing the poisoned fruit of more racism, hatred, strife, class warfare, economic failure, false demon-religions and global chaos as the world continues to adopt these new principles. Anarchy is the net result of the doctrines of a Human Secularist "foundation." If the Judeo-Christian bed-Rock is replaced by these new twisted "morals," they will become the slippery groundwork for the next beastly, government tyrant.
Another "earthquake" is coming. What will our foundation be?
