We come to Day #15 in Counting the Omer. In scripture, the number 15 signifies "rest." The Festival of Booths, also known as the Feast of Tabernacles, is a day of rest. It is celebrated on the
15th day of the 7th month. While there are many examples of the number 15 signifying "rests" in scripture this one is clearly the most important.
Prophetically, it represents the Coming of Christ. He is our "booth" and shelter. It symbolizes the Millennial Kingdom when the world will have rest from sin. This occurs immediately after the final Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur, which is the holiest day of the year, or in modern terms, Israel's "National Day of Repentance!"
Throughout history, Christians have always been at war with the Enemy in the spiritual world. Peace should always be our ultimate prayer. Yet, what type of peace should we pray for...peace at all costs? The Bible clearly warns of a false peace. When we are taught to pray for our governments, we often hear this segment of scripture:
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority
~ 1 Timothy 1-2:2 (a)
Very rarely, is the rest of the scripture quoted:
that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
~ 1 Timothy 2:2 (b)
Are we currently living at peace? Perhaps you may be personally enjoying some peace right now because no one is actively attacking or molesting your individual family, friends or children in the physical realm. However, are babies in the womb allowed to live at peace? Are impressionable young children allowed to live at peace in a secular world that insists they accept the sanctification of perversions in homosexual "marriage", transgenderism and "gender fluidity?" Are Christians allowed to live at peace in all the nations?
Neville Chamberlain showed us what a selfish peace looks like when he attempted to placate Hitler with the strategy of "peace for our time." His policies came at the cost of throwing future generations into an unimaginable global tyranny, the proportions of which we cannot fathom. Thankfully others heeded the call to stand firm and evil was eventually defeated.
It is with this spirit of boldness that I present the following information. It is with the understanding that true peace only comes through peace with God Almighty and not compromise with the Enemy of our souls.
Embedded here is a video previously released by the Vatican. In this video, you will see a thinly veiled worldwide call for "syncretism" which is simply a fancy word for compromise. Jesus is the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings, the Name above all Names, under which EVERY KNEE MUST BOW and EVERY TONGUE CONFESS as the Lord of all. He doesn't share His Glory with false gods or demons. This video attempts to put the King of Kings on the same level (or even lower!) than false demon gods.
At first glance, an undiscerning heart may think: "Well isn't that so nice? Everyone is getting along." We could even queue the Beatles song: "All you need is Love" as the background music for this video. However, what does the Bible say TRUE LOVE is?
Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. You are My friends if you do what I command you. ~ John 15:13-14
Perhaps even more unsettling than this Vatican video is Francis' upcoming May 14th, 2020 meeting in Rome seeking "global unity" of all religions in educating children and calling for a "new humanism." Here is just one of his many disturbing quotes:
"To achieve these goals, we must have the courage to place the human person at the centre."
Never forget...Jesus Christ is the CENTER not mankind! This type of false teaching harkens back to Galileo when the Roman Catholic Church refused to accept that the earth (mankind) revolves around the sun (SON!) and not vice versa!
Watering down the Gospel message extends to key Protestant groups also. As an example it's reported that one of the Lutheran denominations plans to publish a Bible version omitting the word "Israel."
So then, what is the result of this bowing down to syncretism and compromise? It means, we are not able to do what God commands! We must follow the final words and mandate of Jesus Christ Himself to go onward throughout the entire world with the Great Commission.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Amen. ~ Matthew 28:19-20
While everyone in the human race is an "offspring of God" in the sense mentioned in Acts 17:29 (Greek word "genos"), if we do not follow the Great Commission the people of the world will be unable to become true "sons and daughters" of God. We are to help them become children of God as mentioned in John 1 (Greek word "teknon")...those who are INTIMATELY related to God.
...He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. ~John 1:11-12
Notice how quickly this compromise by Rome led to further disobedience and rebellion. In 2015, The Vatican also issued this formal position regarding the Jews.
"The Church is therefore obliged to view evangelisation to Jews, who believe in the one God, in a different manner from that to people of other religions and world views. In concrete terms this means that the Catholic Church neither conducts nor supports any specific institutional mission work directed towards Jews." (December 10, 2015 Vatican Commission for Religious Relations with the Jews)
Consider the injustice of this for a moment! The Jews provided us with the most precious gift in the entire Universe...our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, which afforded us the richness and treasure of a relationship with Him. And now, in return, we will not share Him with them so that they also can have this blessing? No true Christian should EVER agree to such a thing! It's a direct rebellion to Christ's final command before the ascension!
Yet today, we are seeing many ministries agree beforehand NOT TO SPEAK OF CHRIST when they enter into relationship with various Zionist organizations. We must minister salvation in Christ Jesus/Yeshua to every single person, Jew or Gentile.
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. ~ Matthew 10:33
To paraphrase Charles Dickens, I believe we are now living in the best of all times and the worst of all times. We are living during a time of the Great Harvest and yet it will be a time of intense spiritual warfare, played out on both Planet Earth and in the Heavenlies. Neville Chamberlain is an earthly example of how cowardly compromise actually results instead in NO PEACE and ultimately in World War. Syncretism and watered down false religion is the spiritual shadow picture of this cowardly compromise. This time it has much, much more serious consequences. It wars against God Almighty and it results in eternal destruction.
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:3
As we watch Bible prophecy unfold before our very eyes, let's follow Jesus' command and work towards the ONLY PEACE THAT MATTERS...
