DAY 1 LESSON
What is Relationship GRIT?

When you have grit you don’t quit. You keep working at it. You keep moving forward. You don’t give up even when you feel like you want to or know it would be easier to do so. Grit keeps you going through adversity, challenges, disappointment, and pain. In a relationship, GRIT means you don’t give up on the relationship and each other. You stick it out. You find a greater strength. You resolve to stay together. You invest in the relationship and each other. And you do it together. If just one person wants to make the relationship work, it won’t. But if you both make your relationship a priority and do it together you will create an amazing relationship. That’s why GRIT not just part of the title of the book. It is also an acronym and a process and framework for building a stronger relationship.

We don’t want you to stay in a relationship for the sake of staying in it so you can you have grit. We want you to stay in it so you can enjoy the benefits of love, intimacy and connection that come when you don’t give up.
